Since 2019 our German team has been expanding and becoming stronger and stronger year by year. We lend a listening ear during tough times, offer guidance when somebody is uncertain, and celebrate our successes together. Each person brings their own unique set of skills, experiences, and perspectives to the table.

Now it's about time to get to know the team a bit better and we would like to begin with the biggest team in Germany – Team Bonn, and their representatives Ammar Harrat and Nichsan Naganeelan.

The spring competition for this year has come to a close, and what an eventful month it has been! It marks the third year in a row that our company has organized this event internally. With an environmental theme at its core, participants had the opportunity to earn additional points by engaging in tasks that benefit the environment.

How can Markdown help

Markdown is a lightweight markup language widely known and used for formatting text on the web and has gained a lot of traction in the technical documentation side of IT. Many of the “README” documents people find when downloading software are written in or inspired by Markdown. When speaking in purely test automation form it is used to make your test case easier to understand and organize within the framework.

The, now, new tradition, our EC student event, was held in our office at The Point in Malmö Wednesday the 22nd of March and was a great success.

Are you heading up a software development team, or perhaps working as a CTO? Then you most likely have to deal with technical debt on a more or less daily basis. So how can you approach these issues in a structured way?

Building a software development team is no mean feat. When it comes to skilled developers, demand exceeds supply. But even if you do get hold of the best people, you as a team leader probably know that your work has just started. There are still things to consider, such as knowledge sharing within the team. Especially if there, for example, is active development in complex parts of the code. What happens if you then become (too) dependent on specific individuals? What are the risks?

We are very proud of the great collaboration we continue to have with EC Utbildning in Malmö and good examples of that, are our new colleagues Maida and Svitlana, who recently graduated from EC Utbildning in Malmö. To get to know them a bit better, we asked them a few questions.
