SYVE Wellbeing: Health and Happiness

In the past three years, our internal marketing and global HR team at System Verification have diligently worked on various health initiatives, culminating in the creation of SYVE Wellbeing. This comprehensive concept has become an integral part of our internal communication system, Viva Engage. With a diverse range of health-focused activities taking place within our organization, it became evident that we needed a unified umbrella concept to encompass all aspects of employee wellbeing. Thus, SYVE Wellbeing was born.

SYVE Wellbeing represents our commitment to promoting a culture of wellness among our employees. It serves as a collective term that encompasses a wide array of activities designed to enhance physical and mental health, while also fostering a sense of happiness and fulfillment. With its introduction, we have established a framework that encourages holistic well-being and empowers our employees to prioritize their health both in a short-term and long-term perspective.

Examples of initiatives we have had within the SYVE Wellbeing umbrella:

  1. Spring Walking Challenge: One popular activity have been our spring walking challenge which encourages employees to embrace the beauty of the season by incorporating daily walks into their routine. This initiative does not only promotes physical activity but also provides an opportunity to connect with nature and reap the benefits of fresh air and sunlight.

  2. Autumn Movement Challenge: As the vibrant hues of autumn surround us, we have had an autumn movement challenge encourages employees to stay active through various forms of exercise. From yoga and pilates to cycling and hiking, the challenge promotes diverse physical activities that cater to individual preferences and abilities.

  3. SYVE Wellbeing Newsletters: To keep our employees informed and engaged, we regularly share SYVE Wellbeing newsletters. These newsletters serve as a valuable resource, providing insights into health-related topics and benefits, tips for maintaining work-life balance, and updates on upcoming wellness events within our organization.

  4. Additional Areas: SYVE Wellbeing extends beyond just personal health. It also encompasses choices that benefit the environment and charitable causes. For instance, we offer preferential bicycles to employees in Sweden, promoting eco-friendly commuting options.
