As we are soon wrapping up 2024 to have a well-deserved Christmas break with family and friends, I would like to take the opportunity to say a few words about the year that has passed.

Looking back, we can confidently say that we have navigated through a challenging year with resilience and determination. Despite the turbulent economic conditions and global uncertainties, we have managed to stand out as top performers. While many others have struggled, we have continued to thrive.

Year-End Reflections from our CEO

Our success is a testament to the strength of our company, the dedication of our people, and our collective mindset. Our drive to constantly challenge and change ourselves, along with our ability to adapt to unforeseen circumstances, has been key to our achievements. We have shown remarkable agility in times of technological changes and paradigm shifts, making significant investments in innovation and service development, particularly within Generative AI, which is now starting to yield positive results.

Charles Darwin once said, “It is not the strongest of the species that survives, nor the most intelligent that survives. It is the one that is the most adaptable to change.” This quote perfectly encapsulates the spirit of System Verification. Our success is deeply rooted in our ability to adapt and thrive, regardless of the market conditions.

A High-Level Summary of Our Countries

In Germany, despite a tough underlying economy, the team has had an amazing year. The effort and turnaround achieved by the German team have been commendable, and they should be proud of their accomplishments.

In Poland, we have successfully adapted our strategy to meet the changing market conditions. Under the leadership of Anna Ricker, the local team has restructured and is now contributing positively to the overall profit of the group. Well done, Team Poland!

Sarajevo has had a fantastic year, over-delivering on both revenue and profit margin. The significant growth with key clients, especially Alfa Laval, highlights the strong collaboration between the Bosnian and Swedish teams. Next year, we aim to expand and diversify our client portfolio to create more opportunities for our co-workers and mitigate business risks.

In Sweden, the market has shown positive signals of recovery. Despite a slow start, there has been a lot of new business, particularly with our Key Accounts, where we are seen as the customer’s strategic QA partner. The strong performance in Skåne and the positive outlook for the Swedish economy bode well for the future.

As we move forward, we must remain attentive and prepared for any challenges that may come our way. Our strength lies in our unity and our ability to support each other as one big team. Together, we will continue to grow stronger and more resilient.

With that said, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to all of you, our employees, our customers, and our partners. Thank you for your hard work and dedication. Happy holidays, and cheers to a successful year ahead!
