Tech has always been a passion of mine. At first, I considered pursuing an education in political science with the somewhat pretentious ambition of eventually fighting for human rights in some capacity. However, when I almost accidentally started my computer science studies, I experienced, for the first time, a genuine enthusiasm for education. I had found a field that not only excited me but also very quickly felt like a more long-term career path that was both fun and rewarding. Throughout my career, I’ve been fortunate to surround myself with individuals who are significantly more talented than I am, challenging me to grow. This has been a key factor in my professional development.
I had heard about System Verification long before I joined, thanks to several friends who worked here and spoke highly of the company’s culture and leadership. In fact, several of my colleagues had worked closely with both Hamdija Jusufagic and Erik Björhäll, and they consistently described a work environment characterized by professionalism, innovation, and strong values. My own connection with System Verification was solidified when I represented a previous employer of mine in a procurement process alongside Erik and System Verification. We quickly discovered that we liked each other, worked well together and that we shared similar values.
One of the most rewarding projects in my career was establishing a new office and business unit in Stockholm from the ground up. We started with just a handful of people and grew to eventually close to 100 employees. I’ve also had the privilege of building and leading a fantastic globally distributed TA-team. The sense of accomplishment was immense when we achieved the highest eNPS in the entire company and what made me especially proud was that this happened during the pandemic. There were team members I didn’t meet in person for over seven months, yet we managed to build a cohesive, motivated, and high-performing team. This experience taught me the importance of trust, communication, and shared goals in creating a thriving work environment.
The future of tech and consulting looks promising, even though the industry has faced some uncertainty in recent years. It is not a surprise for most that AI, automation, and digital transformation will continue to dominate the landscape, with recent advancements like generative AI reshaping industries and opening new possibilities. Many companies are still in the early stages of these journeys, and they will need to accelerate their efforts to stay competitive. I see significant potential for these technologies, particularly in industries like manufacturing, finance, the energy sector, and the defense industry—sectors where efficiency, reliability, and data-driven decision-making are paramount. The growing focus on software security and the implications of future regulatory requirements are also trends I’m following closely.
For me, the foundation of any strong client relationship is honesty and authenticity. I believe in being straightforward and transparent, even if it means that you sometimes have to deliver difficult messages or even turn down a business opportunity. My approach is to act as a matchmaker, identifying synergies between clients’ needs and our capabilities. I never want to sell a service unless I am fully convinced it will deliver genuine value to a client. This integrity-based approach aligns very well with System Verification’s values, which makes my job both rewarding and inspiring.
For me, motivation comes from being part of a strong, purpose-driven team. I need to feel connected to the bigger picture—to understand the goals and believe in the mission. Once I’m committed, I give my all. I am genuinely excited to contribute to System Verification’s international collaborations, particularly in areas like nearshoring and our growing service offerings across Europe. I’m also looking forward to learning more about the nuances of our ecosystem and supporting clients in their digital transformation journeys.
I’m eager to dive into our ongoing initiatives, especially as we refine our offerings and expand our markets and industries. The prospect of representing and collaborating with all three companies within our ecosystem is particularly exciting. I look forward to contributing, however I can, to our continued development and growth by leveraging my experience in sales, consulting, and team development.
